Handmade from sustainably sourced, premium quality British leather and made in the UK, at our New Forest workshop to be exact. A classic envelope design with space for notes, receipts and tickets, slots for all the cards you’ll need, and a zip pocket to keep those coins safe.
Cut, printed, stitched and hand finished by us, held tight by a secure popper, personalised with hand-stamped initials in gold foil. Our natural leather gets better with age – softer, full of character, with a story to tell.

United KingdomI have previously purchased two coin purses and had my eye on this envelope purse for months. I finally purchased and have been using it for about 9 months and absolutely love it. I love the worn leather look once you use it more and keeps everything I need in one place. I’ve managed to fit a pen in there for when I need it also. Definitely recommend.

United KingdomI contacted Sbri before ordering and asked if it was possible to have this tan purse with the leopard pattern (available as a coin purse) and Georgia was so helpful and said it wouldn't be a problem at all. Despite being a custom order, it came really quickly and is just gorgeous. I love the character of the tan leather – it is perhaps more susceptible to marks/minor scratches than other leathers but I think that just adds to the overall look and that the purse will age beautifully. I've been looking for the perfect purse for ages and expect to be using this for many, many years to come.

I was little disappointed to see my initials not to be correctly in the middle and I think the bronze button somehow cheapens the purse alongside the company’s logo inside the purse. The brown leather looks old and certainly not eye catching. I am very sad with my investment. I think I could design better purses for its price. The purse is crafted well . Very sad indeed
Thanks for your feedback, Cheryl, we’re sorry to hear that your Penny envelope purse wasn’t quite what you were expecting. We explain in the product details that we use a solid brass popper to hold your purse tight, which matches the brass zip inside and gold foil accents, and also mention that each purse is stamped with our brand mark underneath the flap. Like all brands, we’re super proud of our designs and like to stamp them with our Sbri seal of approval. Perhaps we can add a photo to show this on each of the product pages so it’s nice and clear for future customers. We use sustainably sourced cowhide leather to make all our purses, which is prepared using traditional methods to highlight the beautiful natural markings that give your Penny purse her character, and make each one unique. Our tan leather has a vintage feel, beauty spots and all, and only gets better with age.
